A boy who wears undies on his head, loves pink and being silly? Books give us the ability to safely explore a range of topics. Talking with children about grief and mental health can be difficult and picture books with relatable characters provide children and their parents a starting point for discussions and understanding.
Books can also be simply fun, they can be for learning. Or they can combine both.
Books can be a place for solace and support.
